NYC Marathon 2010
NYC Marathon 2010: With the New York City Marathon scheduled for November 7, 2010, the field of runners has already been set. However, if you didn’t get your application for the marathon in, you can still get a guaranteed entry by running for a charity. The ING Community Charity Program is a new initiative by New York Road Runners to provide at least 100 U.S. charities with five runners each in the NYC Marathon 2010. Depending on your level of interest, that makes it quite possible for almost anyone to secure a spot in the biggest race of the year in the U.S. Meb Keflezighi won the NYC Marathon title and he was the first American to win since Alberto Salazar won in 1982. Earlier today, the New York Road Runners made it known that Keflezighi will run in the NYC Marathon 2010 to defend his title.
