Charles Hamelin leads double-gold rush



Canada's Charles Hamelin is known as a quiet, low-key guy, but he carved an emphatic statement into the Pacific Coliseum ice on Friday night.
The Canadian short-track team hoped to use the delirious 14,000-plus crowd to their advantage at these Olympics.
"It's like a sixth gear or extra propane in their tank," Hamelin's father Yves, the
team leader, said. Try seventh gear.
