Final Four Scores

The Final Four scores from Saturday’s NCAA tournament gave us the feel-good story of Butler University being able to beat Michigan State by a score of 52-50. Duke University also has its feel-good story as well. They were able to easily handle the West Virginia team as they went on to win the game by a score of 78-57. This gives Duke University the opportunity to bring their coach his fourth national title. They are also the only number one seed to make it to the national championship game. It has been nine years since they have at all.Duke University also had the type of game that they have been looking for throughout the tournament. They had a 52.7 shooting percentage and Singler seems to have gotten his shot back. In addition, Scheyer was seven for 13 to help the Blue Devils pick throughWest Virginia ’s defense. Duke did all this without one single superstar, but with a team that has constantly played hard defense and pays attention to rebounding. With all of the components working together at same time,West Virginia was not able to get back into the game. Duke will now start preparing for their match up with Butler for the national championship game on Monday night.
