Final four update

Leading up to the Final Four game times the NCAA has been hinting to the fact that next year they may expand the number of teams in the tournament to 96. This would essentially put an end to the NIT Tournament with the NCAA basically absorbing those teams. It still has to be approved, but it looks like it could be a possibility. The week also saw Ohio State’s Evan Turner receive the AP player of the year award and Coach Boeheim of Syracuse, receive the coach of the year award. There have been other awards given out throughout the week leading up to game play starting tonight.
By the end of the Final Four game times tonight, the two teams that will be going to the NCAA championship game will be determined. This game will be played Monday evening in Indianapolis. If you look at the many predictions that are being made by analysts and experts, you will see that each of these games are just about evenly matched. It would also be safe to say that there are many that are rooting for the underdog, Butler that has never made it this far in an NCAA tournament. They will have to not only rely on the hometown fans, but will have to pull out every stop in order to beat strongMichigan State team. Duke and West Virginia will go head-to-head in what should be a very physical game. Tonight is the night that we have all been waiting for in a tournament that has been filled with expected results, and many surprises.

NCAA Championship Game Update

The NCAA Championship game will be played on Monday night and the story begins to unfold. It is a story much like David versus Goliath in that Duke is the big powerful school and Butler is the little known team. Many people either really like Duke or they really hate them, much like the New York Yankees. It seems as though everyone is starting to rally around the Butler team, hoping the underdog is able to take down the giant.Butler University saw their star players, Shelvin Mack and Matt Howard leaving the game on Saturday, Mack with dehydration and Howard with a mild concussion, they will need to be healthy for Monday night’s game in order to give Butler a chance of winning. It is apparent that Duke is a bigger team and stronger, they will have to make sure that they can get the rebounds. They will also have to figure out a way to limit Duke’s three point shots. Butler will also need to continue to shut down Singler, Scheyer and Smith, who in the win againstWest Virginia combined for a total of 63 points, which was six more than West Virginia scored as an entire team. For Duke University, they need to make sure that they respect Butler’s offensive and defensive threats in order for them to win theNCAA Championship game.

NCAA Basketball 2010: Final Four Game Times

Final Four Game Times:NCAA Schedule 2010– There is a lot of hype on some of the most recent games. Some ties have come into play and people are anxious to hear the results of what’s going to be the outcome. The biggest question, is undoubtedly whether Michigan State win the 2010 NCAA Tournament. Well wouldn’t everyone like to know the answer to that question? I know that I definitely would.
Today, April 3th, 2010 the NCAA Final Four are coming in. Duke University, West Virginia, Butler and Michigan State are all relying on their games to place them in the 2010 National Championship game. It’s sure to be a close race and add a lot of excitement onto the final games. The sporting events will be shown on the popular CBS television channel who has broadcast all of the games up to this point. I think changing the channel on everyone at the last minute would add some confusion and a lot of disappointed fans who still aren’t paying for advanced cable services to quickly search for their destination channel right? I know I’ve gotten a bit frustrated before when things are mixed up on my schedule. The games will be taking place in Indianapolis, Indiana at the one and only Lucas Oil Stadium.
The 4 game semifinal match will be held at Lucas Oil in Indianapolis. It’s scheduled at 18.05 ET and will be aired live by WWJ-TV.The first match is between fifth seed Michigan State and fifth seed Butler and will be start at 6:07 PM Eastern Time. Meanwhile, the other game will be played between first seed Duke and second seed West Virginia. Butler (32-4) vs Michigan State game time starts at 6:07 PM ET. Duke (33-5) vs West Virginia (WVU) game time starts at 8:47 PM ET.
The winner of the each respective final 4 game will be played in the NCAA men’s basketball championship. Grand final 4 game times will be held on Monday, 5th April at 9:00PM ETin Indianapolis.

Final Four Schedule 2010: Butler Bulldogs Predictions

Final Four Schedule 2010: Butler Bulldogs Predictions: The Final Four schedule 2010 includes a team that many did not think would ever make the trip to Indianapolis. The Butler Bulldogs are the first Horizon League team to ever make it to the Final Four game. They have done this based on a 24 game winning streak and have only lost four games throughout the season. In their conference, the Horizon League, they posted an 18-0 record. During the preseason the Bulldogs were ranked number 11 but fell out of the rankings when they lost to UAB back in December.
The Final Four schedule 2010 starts on Saturday and the Butler team will be taking on the strong Michigan State squad. They have gotten to this level of the competition by defeating strong teams such as Syracuse and Kansas State. In order to get to their game on Saturday the Bulldogs will not have very far to go. The campus is located about 6 miles from Lucas Oil Stadium where the game will be played. This means for Butler they will have a huge fan base which may give them the necessary momentum to overtake Michigan State. I would predict Butler to be victorious against Michigan State Saturday night.

NCAA 2010 Final Four Schedule

The NCAA 2010 final four schedule does not look like anything that many people had anticipated. Duke has finally made it to the Final Four and Michigan State has been able to battle back into the NCAA tournament even though they were seeded fifth. The other memorable event of the tournament is that Butler University will be representing themselves for the first time in the Final Four NCAA tournament. They will also be doing this in front of hometown fans in Indianapolis.
There may even be good news for West Virginia, as they proceed in the NCAA 2010 Final Four schedule, as it has been reported that there star player Bryant, who broke his foot during practice could actually be ready to play. We may not see him in the Final Four game, however, if West Virginia moves on, we may see him play in the NCAA Championship game. It looks as though that Duke University has broken its streak of not being able to perform in the tournament and we still have Butler University, which can now be called the Cinderella team of the 2010 NCAA basketball tournament. The Final Four games will start this coming Saturday, April 3 and based on the history of the 2010 NCAA tournament so far, it is anyone’s guess as to which two teams will make it to the final NCAA Championship game.

NCAA Final Four Schedule 2010

The NCAA Basketball Tournament for 2010 is finally winding down as we will be able to watch the NCAA Final Four schedule 2010 on Saturday. It has been a great three weeks of college basketball with numerous upsets and games that have gone down to the buzzer. We have seen teams that were expected to be in the 2010 Final Four and we saw an early exit from some teams that were expected to go all the way. This is what makes NCAA college basketball so exciting because of its unpredictability. One of the biggest stories emerging from Indianapolis is that the NCAA may be expanding the tournament to 96 teams. This has been talked about for several months and even has come up during the 2010 NCAA Final Four week. Some say that most likely increasing the size of the field to 96 would actually do away with the NIT tournament as we know it. The committee said that the tournament would not take any longer to complete and there would no longer be the play-in game. The one thing that some people are concerned about is the fact that having so many teams would have higher seeds playing extremely low seeds and would not provide the necessary competition. However others say that it could increase the amount of excitement and the potential for upsets much like we have seen this year. Can you imagine the amount of paper you will need to print out your NCAA Tournament brackets for 96 teams? We will have to wait and see as soon as the final decision is made.
