NCAA Final Four Schedule 2010
The NCAA Basketball Tournament for 2010 is finally winding down as we will be able to watch the NCAA Final Four schedule 2010 on Saturday. It has been a great three weeks of college basketball with numerous upsets and games that have gone down to the buzzer. We have seen teams that were expected to be in the 2010 Final Four and we saw an early exit from some teams that were expected to go all the way. This is what makes NCAA college basketball so exciting because of its unpredictability. One of the biggest stories emerging from Indianapolis is that the NCAA may be expanding the tournament to 96 teams. This has been talked about for several months and even has come up during the 2010 NCAA Final Four week. Some say that most likely increasing the size of the field to 96 would actually do away with the NIT tournament as we know it. The committee said that the tournament would not take any longer to complete and there would no longer be the play-in game. The one thing that some people are concerned about is the fact that having so many teams would have higher seeds playing extremely low seeds and would not provide the necessary competition. However others say that it could increase the amount of excitement and the potential for upsets much like we have seen this year. Can you imagine the amount of paper you will need to print out your NCAA Tournament brackets for 96 teams? We will have to wait and see as soon as the final decision is made.
