Stanley Cup Finals 2010 Schedule

The Stanley Cup Finals 2010 has the first team in place. The Chicago Blackhawks lost in the conference finals last year but are now in the Finals for the first time since 1992. The game of hockey in general totes a big stick. Players and fans alike tend to be rough and tough on and off the ice.

The Blackhawks won the Western Conference Finals with the fantastic play of Dustin Byfuglien. And now, taking on the winner of the Philadelphia/Montreal series is all that the Blackhawks have on their mind for the Stanley Cup Finals 2010. Just for the record, as the hockey finals tend to set a lot of records, while this is their first appearance since 1992, a win would be the first since 1961. And, with Marian Hossa playing in his third championship in three years with three teams, success is not guaranteed but records will be set.

Other big names to look for in the Stanley Cup Finals 2010 are Jonathan Toews and first year goaltender Antti Niemi. If Niemi can pull this off, he would be only the fourth rookie goalie to win a championship in 40 years. We’ve already determined that the game will be full of records, ifPhiladelphia can hang on, this would be a Phi-Chi finals series. As it stands right now, Hawks fans may find getting a ticket into the United Center to be excruciatingly difficult.
