Watch Geneva Motor Show

Geneva Motor Show:Global car makers are brushing off a crisis year with an array of new models at the Geneva Motor Show this week, hoping that compact, clean and economical luxury woo a shaky market.
At an event which FRANCE 24 Business Editor Douglas Herbert described as full of “glitz and glam”, eagerly awaited newcomers included the Audi A1, the German luxury car maker's venture into small car territory.Japan's Nissan also introduced a redesign of its small Micra, while Toyota, reeling from recent scandals, brought its clean hybrid technology closer to the mainstream market by fitting it to the Auris hatchback.
Nissan chief executive Carlos Ghosn said the previously Euro-targeted Micra was aiming for sales of one million a year by 2013, with production shifting to emerging, and cheaper countries like India, China, Thailand and Mexico.
